A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of meeting Joost Vandebrug. A fine photographic artist with a stunning view on fashion. He presented his beautiful collection of photography and film and I was amazed by the striking beauty in his work.
His contribution to magazines and projects are highly influenced by music and it’s effect on high end fashion. The work reflect these influences by using models with the needed level of authenticity and artists that relate to the sensitive vision of Joost.
Joost uses different techniques of lighting and the suitable choice of camera to translate the emotion and situation in order to accomplish his storytelling way of photography.
His latest project “Rain” is a beautiful video made for the ‘ADO LES SCENTS‘ collection by Hyun Yeu. Expect to see more work from Joost in the future. Thank you Joost!

Kyle Ng’s new Farm Tactics label uses re-purposed materials to create bags made from materials such as 1960’s Dutch military bags, 1940’s gas masks and Oil Filson Tin cloth and other military webbing.
His recent Spring/Summer collection “The Weekend”, features pieces inspired by Ng’s grandfather who was an industrial designer in the 50’s and 60’s, but with a self-described “neoclassical” twist. Other pieces include heavy weight cotton tank tops, pocket tees inspired by military issue garments from WWII. All simple, yet very refined.
